Snowflake Farms breeds and sells the rarest of the rare Suri Alpacas and their fiber. Currently there are 15 alpacas residing on our farm. Suri alpacas make up only 7% of the entire world population of alpacas. Their very fine and high luster fiber hangs along their sides in wavey locks. Alpacas are very smart, gentle animals and are a pleasure to care for.
I spin, knit, crochet, wet felt and needle felt my Suri fiber. My one-of-a-kind needle felted alpacas are made with either 100% alpaca or with a wool batting core. I have several little alpacas in stock in different colors, sizes and poses. I will take orders for specific colors and poses; and will make custom alpacas from your own alpaca fiber and photographs, if you'd like. It will take approximately one week to complete a custom alpaca.
I also have raw fiber for sale in white, light fawn, medium fawn, and medium brown -- great for your hand made products!
